Textile Extensions: Quilts in a New Context

The Sun's Gon' Shine In My Backdoor Someday' is just one of 15 of Carole's work that will be in the exhibition “Textile Extensions: Quilts in a New Context” which opens at the Marshall M. Fredericks Sculpture Museum Oct. 2. A reception to meet the artist will be held at the Museum Saturday, Oct. 3 from 2 to 4 p.m. Those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP by calling 989-964-7082. Carole will talk about her work, the art of design and quilting, at the Museum on Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 4:00 p.m. The lecture is free and open to the public. I'm a member of SAQA in New Jersey, and I came across your site. Beautiful work especially the ghosts in the forest quilt. As an art quilter, I appreciate the difficulty of this quilt, and I think it's just beautiful.
